Messi Claims best 2022 FIFA Men’s Player Tittle

Argentina captain Lionel Messi has claimed the best FIFA men’s palyer tittle for 2022 amongst a star-studded lineup of winners and categories.

This has been announced in Paris.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Messi beat other finalists Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe to get the coveted prize.

The 35-year-old seven-time Ballon d'Or Winner produced several memorable performances during Argentina's FIFA World Cup-winning campaign in Qatar last year.

Messi had bagged the Golden Ball for being the competition's best player which shows how much of an impact he had in Argentina's win not only as the goal scorer but also as someone who goal-scoring opportunities for others.

For his club too, Messi has been in a wonderful addition to the squad and has made a transition after his exit from Barcelona FC.

The other individual award was the BEST FIFA Women's Player which went to Alexia Putellas, the Spainish forward who beat England's Beth Mead and United States' Alex Morgan to get the honour. Putellas had also bagged the prize last year.
