Acidic Vokoz Wins East African Breakthrough Artist Award

Acidic Vokoz was born in 2000 in the Bugwere district's Busembatia, Iganga. From a young age, he showed a fondness for music. His interest in music started to develop when he was in elementary school. But he didn't make the decision to take music more seriously until they were in high school.

 In a dazzling display of talent and dedication, Acidic Vokoz emerged victorious at the recent East African Breakthrough Artist Awards, clinching the prestigious title amidst stiff competition.

 Before securing this coveted accolade, Acidic Vokoz found himself pitted against a formidable lineup of contenders, including the likes of Liam Voice, Vyroota, Ava Peace, Biswanka, Jim Kraizy, and others.

 However, it was his undeniable talent and unwavering commitment that ultimately propelled him to the forefront of the competition. Taking to his social media platforms in a moment of jubilation, Acidic Vokoz expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his fans, supporters, and the organizers of the event.
 In a poignant post, he remarked, "This is a great milestone ???????? I can't thank you enough, my people. The organizers, my fans, my audience, and whoever voted for it to come home.

The 3rd edition of the East Africa Arts Entertainment Awards, held over the weekend, served as a platform to honor and celebrate artists for their exceptional contributions to the arts. 

Acidic Vokoz's nomination in the Best Breakthrough Act category underscored his rising influence and significant impact on Uganda's vibrant music industry.
