Singer Alien Skin Faces Fresh Charges, Remanded Again in Luzira Prison
Mulwana is also accused of robbing Salim Mubiru of an iPhone Pro 15 worth Shs3.5 million, Shs480,000 cash, and a wallet carrying a national ID in Makindye Division, Kampala District, on September 28, 2024.
Ugandan singer Patrick Mulwana, also known as Alien Skin, finds himself in greater legal problems after the state filed more accusations against him. The artist was first confined to Luzira Prison on counts of serious bodily damage involving medical professionals at St. Francis Hospital Nsambya, but he now faces a growing list of allegations.
Alien Skin's bodyguard, Julius Mugabi, alias Julio, is also implicated in the incident, complicating the legal proceedings.
The charges stem from an alleged altercation at the hospital, during which Mulwana and his bodyguard, Julio, are accused of assaulting medical personnel, leaving them with serious injuries. The prosecution claims the incident disrupted hospital operations and endangered the safety of patients and staff. With the new counts formally read in court, the case has taken a more serious turn, as Mulwana continues to face mounting legal challenges. Both he and his co-accused have denied the allegations, maintaining their innocence as they await further legal proceedings.
The Fangone Entertainment crew head attempted to seek for release, but the state prosecutor objected, claiming that he would interfere with current investigations. The court also heard that police intend to arrest 18 more members of his team, who invaded the health institution and assaulted its staff.

Chief Magistrate Esther Adikini, who presided over the hearing, remanded Alien Skin and Julio to Luzira Prison and postponed the decision on their bail plea until Thursday, November 28. The charge sheet alleges that on November 19, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital Nsambya in Makindye Division, Kampala District, Mulwana, Mugabi, and unidentified accomplices unlawfully assaulted Dr. Zaidi Matovu and two hospital security guards, Alex Odongo and Anthony Munyanda. The allegations offer a bleak picture of the occurrence, raising major worries about the safety of healthcare staff and sparking widespread public interest in the conclusion.
Mulwana is also accused of robbing Salim Mubiru of an iPhone Pro 15 worth Shs3.5 million, Shs480,000 cash, and a wallet carrying a national ID in Makindye Division, Kampala District, on September 28, 2024.
The musician was arrested on November 20 before being arraigned in court.
