Uganda Cranes head coach Paul Put has unveiled the squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Botswana and Algeria. 


The Uganda Cranes' team for the forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Botswana and Algeria has been revealed by head coach Paul Put. Fans are excited to watch how the squad performs in these important games as their expectation grows. 

The roster has been carefully chosen to provide a combination of new and experienced players in an effort to win important games in route to the World Cup. 

The Uganda Cranes will make their first visit back to Mandela National Stadium in Namboole since 2019 when the coach revealed the team earlier today at a news conference held at the FUFA Complex in Mengo, Kampala.


In the FIFA World Cup 2026-preliminary competition African zone, Uganda will host Bostwana and Algeria on June 7 and June 10, respectively. Both matches will take place under floodlights.
