Sock as Suspected Boda Boda Robbers Lynched, Burnt Beyond Recognition in Mukono.

In Mukono, Uganda, a wave of dread has shattered the calm in the sleepy town of Samuka, which is tucked away in the peaceful surroundings of Katoogo Parish.

The community has been shocked by the deaths of two cherished boda boda operators, Richard Mawanda, 56, and Sande Semanda, 35, who passed away recently.

The two were allegedly killed in the middle of the night, and when their bodies were found in a depressing location by a pond used for sand mining, their motorcycles had disappeared.
Angry locals mounted a hunt to exact their own justice by killing two young people who were allegedly involved in the horrible crime.

Locals were so furious that they burned the bodies of the lynched suspects beyond recognition after apprehending two juveniles who were allegedly involved in the deaths of their companions.
Nama Sub-county chairman John Bosco Isabirye condemned the unfortunate loss of the residents, and cautioned riders to avoid transporting strangers at night.
