UPDF Defiles Own Biological Daughter, Arrested by Arrested by Police.

Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) soldier has been arrested by Buikwe District Police on allegations of defiling and impregnating his biological 15-year-old daughter.

The suspect identified as Lance Corporal (L/Cpl) Gabriel Okedi attached to Naminya Army Detach in Wakisi Division, Buikwe district was arrested and detained at Njeru Central Police Station on Friday, July 28, 2023.

This was confirmed on Friday by Ms Hellen Butoto, the Ssezibwa Regional Police Spokesperson.
According to her, it is alleged that between February and July this year, the UPDF officer defiled his 15-year-old daughter countless times.

“We have already done a medical examination and it is true the girl is pregnant,” said Butoto adding that the soldier is facing charges of aggravated defilement.

This was revealed after concerned authorities reported the matter and a statement was also obtained from the girl points and cinformed that her father is responsible for her pregnancy.
