Buganda Kingdom Denies Twins for Kabaka Ronald Mutebi and Nabageereka Sylivia Najjinda.
According to Buganda Kingdom history, last Kabaka to give birth to twins while on the throne was Sekabaka Daudi Chwa in 1925 and the twins were Kalemera Wasswa and Kiggala Kato.
The Buganda Kingdom has recently released a statement regarding the rumors of twins for Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and Nabageereka Sylivia Najjinda Luswata.
According to the statement, the kingdom has denied the rumors and clarified that Kabaka Mutebi does not have any twins.
The Kingdom statements came after the Nnaabagereka of Buganda Syliia Nagginda Luswata disclosed a well-kept secret about her life revealing that she has twins with her husband, the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, the King of Buganda Kingdom.
In her soon-to-be-released autobiography titled, “The Nnaabagereka of Buganda Queen Sylvia Nagginda Luswata,” the Queen writes that she was blessed with a set of twins.
On Page 205 of the autobiography, Nagginda writes, “On December 6, 2010, I was blessed with two more girls Jade Nakato and Jasmine Babirye born in Kampala… They’re two amazing kids who are mostly happy and are passionate about people which, at their age, I find astounding…”
This shocked many as they wondered how the kingdom kept secret for the last 13 years.
However, through a statement shared this afternoon, the kingdom has said that Kabaka Mutebi has no twins.
According to Buganda Kingdom history, last Kabaka to give birth to twins while on the throne was Sekabaka Daudi Chwa in 1925 and the twins were Kalemera Wasswa and Kiggala Kato.
