Gwanga Mujje Concert Controversy: Artists Divide over Gravity Omutujju’s Statements.

Recently, popular Ugandan artist Gravity Omutujju made headline with his controversial comments about Chameleon’s Gwanga Mujje concert which turned to ground zero disaster following heavy rain downpour hence postponing the show to 24^th/Feb/2023.

Shortly after the incident circulated on social media, the Ani Alina Ennene Hit maker who hates Jose Chameleone for denying to give him a drop ahead of his Tusimbudde concert that happened in October went on his social media page and wrote “Katonda bwatyo bwasasula mukama Akola ????”

Gravity is also set to release a new singer dubbed Mukama Akola praising God for punishing Jose Chameleone.

These remarks forced The Uganda Musicians Association (UMA)to Condemn Gravity Omutujju’s behavior towards Jose Chameleone after ruined Gwanga Mujje Concert

In the statement released, they said all this is unacceptable and according to them, they don’t think the act done by Gravity Omutujju is good.

UMA said artistes need to be professional and sympathize with fellows who get into problems. The habit of celebrating is not okay at all.

We implore Gravity Omutujju and all artists to reconsider their actions and choose to promote positivity, instead of dwelling on negativity. UMA will continue to promote and celebrate the best qualities of our musicians and the contributions they make to society.

‘‘UMA firmly stands against any form of behaviour that promotes or celebrates the misfortunes of others. We encourage all artists to rise above such petty actions and maintain a high moral ground, in the spirit of mutual respect and unity. Management,” UMA posted.

Talents manager Bushington producer also said that Gravity Omutujju’s music should be boycotted because they are many things that Gravity is enjoying because of energy Chameleon invested that made the industry better for the new artists.

The Gwanga Mujje concert was rescheduled for 24^th/ February /2023 and Chameleon Thanked  Fenon for the beautiful stage that they had  put up and also thanked  his friends and fans for standing up by him during that  hard time.
