Cindy Sanyu tearfully seeks Steve Jean's forgiveness on "Sit Down with Juliana” Interview

In a heartfelt moment that left many touched, renowned Ugandan musician the king herself Cindy Sanyu opened up about her deep regrets and the longing for reconciliation with her former partner, music producer Steve Jean

"I know that I hurt him —I miss him, I want him to be proud of me," Cindy Sanyu tearfully confessed during an emotional interview. "I pray and I hope that he forgives me one day," she added, her voice trembling with emotion.

Particularly after her breakup with her music team, the former Blue3, Cindy was expressing gratitude to the producers who supported her throughout her musical career.

During the interviews with host Juliana Kanyomozi, Cindy expressed this by saying that each time Juliana mentioned a certain person's name, Cindy had to share her thoughts about that individual. She first spoke to Daphine Kyaligonza about what was on her mind.

The second person to hear Cindy describe herself as her pallor and her strength was renowned producer J. Blessing, who she commended for providing a platform for her to get her first prizes and pricey videos.
She also described Navio as a kind, trustworthy man with positive energy.

As the conversation turned to her former producer Stevie Jean, Cindy Sanyu herself became emotional and teared up while pleading for Steve Jean's forgiveness.

Through Coca-Cola's Real Stars talent hunt, where Sanyu and Kefa Mwesigwa were among the top competitors, Steve Jean came across Cindalera Sanyu. After that, Jean founded Blu3, a group of three female vocalists that consists of Lilian Mbabazi, Jackie Chandiru, and Sanyu. Some of Sanyu's most well-known songs, such as "Dilemma," "Sanyu Lyange," and "Ayokyayokya," were performed at one show. The song "Time to Say Goodbye," which Jean composed for her, was also sung by fans.

Stevie Jean is also the mastermind behind the upcoming Blue3 reunion concert scheduled for June 22nd this year at the Sheraton Kampala Gardens. Tickets went on sale on April 15, 2024.
