As the anticipation for the return of King Charles Wesley Mumbere to his kingdom in Kasese reaches its zenith, the community is abuzz with excitement.

The preparations for the king's homecoming are in full swing, with cultural officials leaving no stone unturned to ensure that their leader receives a truly fitting and heartfelt cultural welcome.
However, as the people of Kasese eagerly await the triumphant return of King Charles Wesley Mumbere to his kingdom, the traditional royal guards that have long accompanied the cultural leader of the Obusinga bwa Rwenzururu have been replaced by regular UPDF (Uganda People's Defense Force) soldiers.

This shift has raised questions and curiosity within the community.
According to the Kasese Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Joe Walusimbi, the change in the king's security detail is the result of an agreement reached between the Ugandan government and officials of the Obusinga bwa Rwenzururu.

While the specifics of this agreement have not been fully disclosed, it appears to be a significant step toward normalizing the security situation in the region.
