Nyege Nyege returns to Jinja this November 14th-17th, with a fresh twist—“Nyege in the City,” a unique daytime program showcasing Jinja’s culture and hidden gems. Running daily, this program invites festival-goers to experience Jinja’s vibrant streets, iconic landmarks, and natural beauty, enhancing the festival’s music and nightlife with cultural day adventures.


Festival attendees can now explore serene Nile River tours, bustling local markets, scenic landmarks, and fine dining, offering an authentic Ugandan experience. “Nyege in the City” includes guided tours and water-based activities, providing a safe, engaging way to discover Jinja while festival grounds undergo security preparations.


Local eateries will feature curated dishes blending Ugandan flavors with international flair, adding a culinary delight to the event. With performances from artists like Zex Bilangilangi, Pia Pounds, Recho Ray, and DJs like Alesha and Vans, both day and night sessions promise unforgettable entertainment.
