Mukono Youth Counselor Dikan's Dramatic Shift from NRM to NUP and His Subsequent Disappearance

Mukono, Uganda – In a startling turn of events, Dikan Jephthah, a well-known Male youth counselor in Mukono Municipality, who made headlines by switching his political allegiance from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) to the National Unity Platform (NUP) goes missing.

Mr. Dikan has been a prominent figure in Mukono’s youth advocacy scene. For years, he worked closely with the NRM, the ruling party in Uganda, promoting youth empowerment programs and community development initiatives. His sudden departure from the NRM to join the opposition party NUP, led by Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine), has raised eyebrows and stirred political discussions.

Since then, the youth of the NRM have been demanding that the young leader, who presided over numerous high-secret meetings of the NRM, make a change.

It's still unclear and when time came he changed to NUP leaving NRM sore throat.
There must be an explanation for his prominent position as a youth leader at the time, overseeing the largest portion of the populace that decided to leave the ruling party.

Speculations Are Rise About The Reasons Behind Dikan’s Disappearance.

Some believe it could be a case of political retribution, while others think he might be in hiding due to threats. "The political environment in Uganda is tense, and defectors often face severe consequences. We hope and pray that Dikan is safe and will return to us soon," said a member of the NUP.

Though sources suggest he might be in Sweden, where he had previously visited and made acquaintances, it is currently presumed he is seeking refuge in one of the European countries.

As the search for Mr. Dikan goes on, His narrative brings to light the dangers political activists confront and the pressing need for a more secure and welcoming political environment in Uganda. The whole country is now focused on Mukono, searching for a solution to this perplexing riddle and waiting for answers.
