Miss Uganda Hannah Karema has secured a spot among the top ten finalists in the Miss World Beauty with a Purpose.

Uganda, Botswana, and Tanzania are among the only African countries to have progressed alongside seven others, being recognized as Beauty with a Purpose finalists for their projects.
Uganda has Hannah Karema, Botswana has Lesego Chombo, and Tanzania has Halima Kopwe.

Her historic achievement marked a significant milestone for Uganda, as she became the first Ugandan to attain such a prestigious position in the annual pageant.
A three-week festival of events culminated with the 71st Miss World global finale at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on Saturday, March 9th.
